social anxiety

its when your scared of talking to others and you feel horrible, you shake, have muscle spasms, you stutter your voice shakes. Its really serious and many people dont understand how bad it is who dont have it.

I do understand cause my social anxiety is horrible i've been to a psychologist but he aint done a shit. Meds are making me worse... Its like it feels terrible you cant speak to anyone you just hide out and have anxiety attacks IT SUCKS!!!
theres no possible way you can have friends and live a normal life........
plus i have a horrible accent and i just get so self conscious about it!!!

Social Drifter

A social drifter is generally someone who travels between different social groups from year to year, never growing attatched to one person or group of people. Every person has their own reason for being a social drifter; some do it because they like to avoid problems, others because they have attatchment issues.

Social drifters never seem to have the same friends for more than a year, nor do they stay within a stereotype for very long either. These people are often confused for a bottom feeder or social climber, but for the most part are nothing close to those. They simply drift in and out of people's lives so that for at least a while they can find friends, however temporary they might be.

Every year I see that kid with a different group of friends. He must be a social drifter, always changing his surroundings.

A person who is surrounded by friends at a bar or restaurant, but is on their smartphone checking their twitter feed or other peoples Facebook updates rather than socializing with the people present: Oh don't worry about Liz joining the conversation at dinner she is Anti-Social Networking as usual.

social security

A pyramid scheme run by the US Government. They promised to take your money to invest it for you so you'd have enough money to retire on, but from the very beginning they've just paid the people who are over 65 with the money sent in by the workers under 65. For any other organization to do this would be illegal. They don't make any real investments at all. They only 'invest' in other government agencies, which means they'll end up being paid back with yet more tax money taken by force from hard working Americans.

Joe Average says "I wanted to invest my money in a private account that I could control in order to plan for my retirement, but after paying tax for Social Security I didn't have enough left over to do that. If Social Security is so great, why do they have to force you to pay for it under threat of prison? If it was really so great, wouldn't people participate voluntarily?"
