The act of making something worse or weaker.

The verb form of "nerf."

So I don't win too much, I'm nerfing my performance to balance the game.

A conciliatory way of saying, "nobody's perfect" that illustrates the concept. Originated with Cracked and Mad Magazine in the 70s.

I'm sorry, that was dumb.

Nerfstick 

A nerfstick is the tool by which a moderator or admin on an online forum strikes down on bad posts and posters. It is similar to, but has more uses than the ban hammer.

This use of the term seems to have originated from a moderator on the Secret World forums.

Example 1:
Sappho: "I have a very large nerf-stick at my disposal, and I'm not afraid to use it"

Example 2:
User: Where is the nerfstick Sappho? Are you getting soft on us?

nerfus 

a combination of nerd and nerf, the word defines a person who is both a nerd and a jock. The "us" suffix is latin.

That hunky football player plays computer games for two hours a day?! What a nerfus.

nerfcicle 

A frozen treat that is meant for the unsuspecting person that you really dont like, just jack off, freeze it (add dye for effect) and viola!! you have nerfcicle!!

Tommy and tamara were not getting along, tommy hated tamara tommy collected his juice, put it in a popcicle maker, and gave it to tamara as a make up gift. the nerfcicle was her downfall, somethis about a tuna salad monster in her tummy
