Break-Up Blog

N. When a girl writes a blog on myspace/tumblr/blogger right after breaking up with a girlfriend or even just a friend about how backstabbing the person was and how they don't care about them. Usually includes cussing and insulting.
Amy: Did you read Jane's break-up blog?
Joe: No.. why?
Amy: She totally dissed Jack and called him a cock-sucking tosser!

Blogcore

Blogcore is music that is the focus of the myriad of independent music blogs on the internet.

Independent music blogs attempt to create an alternative to the mainstream media outlets, and instead intentionally reject major label artists in favour of relatively unknown musicians, often with an air of superiority in their tone.

The irony is that the vast majority of independent music can be classified as mildly experimental, superficial lo-fi indie rock inflected with tokenistic, often ironic use of electronic instruments.

Where the independent music blogs had attempted to promote a wealth of innovative musical creativity, the end was result is a stagnant scene of sound-a-likes that offer little to no variation between each band, and therefore may be classified under the single genre of Blogcore.

Blogcore is popular music amongst the Hipster subculture and also the burgeoning Blogbaby subculture.
Pitchfork Media recommend the following Blogcore acts:

Animal Collective
Clap Your Hands, Say Yeah
Ok, Go!
Arcade Fire
etc etc

blog it

Quick and easy way of verbally owning emo kids, whiny bitches and/or just about anyone who complains so much, they make you want to choke a small animal then shove it down their throats. Can be used for all degrees of whining and in conjunction with other anti-emo send-offs like "cry more", "\cry" and "don't cry, emo kid".
Emo kid: "People just don't get the pain I've been through since my 14 year old girlfriend dumped me. The world sucks, my soul is crushed and I can't go on-"
Victim of whining: "Fucking blog it, you emo fag!"

Kid 1: "Man, this class sucks."
Kid 2: "Blog it!"

Her blog used to be so dependable and regular, I set my watch by it. But lately, she clearly has a case of blog-arrhea!

blog envy

1) The jealousy you feel when you see another blog getting recognition in the mainstream press.
(2) The jealousy you feel when you realize that your friend's blog is more popular than yours.
My blog envy meter was going to the roof when I saw Music For Robots mentioned in the New York Times.

blog

an online diary into which emo kids whine about their "horrible" lives.
Emo kid: My life sucks. I hate my parents. First they made me clean my room, and then they wouldn't let me watch TV until I did my homework! I'm going to bitch them out in my blog.

Blog Dick

Quoted from Myspace Awards Center....

This seems to be the current hot question. You hear it more and more: Blog Dicking.

The act of Blog Dicking or BD (I just made that part up), is essentially cutting in line when posting a comment responding to someone's blog. Let's say there are already 200 comments. You could post like everyone else and be comment number 201, but you'd be way down on page 5, and who's gonna see you there?

So a blog dicker will reply to the first commenter on the first page of comments so that EVERYONE can see their comment. Usually blog dicking is self promotion on someone else's blog. They reply to someone's comment but it has nothing to do with the comment they responded to.

Blog dicking is not replying to someone's comment, even if it just happens to be near the top of the first comments, if you really are responding to what they have commented about. But sometimes people make it look like they are relying to someone's comment when really they are blog dicking by adding something like: Hey come visit my blog it's better!

Bobby Ramone is the first person I ever heard using the term Blog Dicking.
You thought you were second eh? We'll I might just have to blog dick you!
