True Love is seldom understood and rarely experienced in most people's lives, with it being non-existant or never experienced at all by some.

Love is often mistaken with it's opposite passion, which can be defined with carnal, possessive, selfish, and/or self-indulgent qualities. Passion is not love.

Love is not just viewing and treating another as you would want to treat yourself, but actually destroying the illusion of separation by treating the new us better for the sake of doing so.
