crosstitute

A Crosstitute can most commonly be found in high-density urban areas on the dark side-streets near clubs. Easiest to detect in the "male as female" variety with tell-tale Adam's apples or five o'clock shadow, but they are most commonly detected from a distance when one notices that the subject is over six-foot and has the shoulders of a line backer.

The act of waking up from a nap just in time to get in bed on your regular schedule.
If you regularly go to bed at 11:00pm, it would be like taking a nap from 7:30-11:00 waking up just in time to go to bed. And thats pulling a crossover in a nutshell.

Crossover Value

When speaking about music that has been remixed from one genre to another, it refers to the amount of potential the new remix has in pulling fans from the original genre base.
A Britney Spears track (primarily pop) is remixed from it's original genre to dubstep. The crossover value of the remix relates to how many people would like or be interested in the dubstep version because they know the original track.

DJs can sometimes get people interested in new genres by playing remixes of popular tracks they know, allowing them to relate to the music and the lyrics since they are familiar to the listener. The ability a remix has to pull in listeners from its original genre can be referred to as the 'crossover value' of the track
