I know that my sister's husband really hates me, but tries to be nice for her sake; when we visit them, you can cut the hospitility with a knife.

The feeling of wanting to hospitalise someone using force/violence. This can be done by horrifically beating someone, choking them with grapes, spiking their drink with urine or creating a stampede of middle aged cows to take down your opponent

hospitalble

Describes welcoming and pleasant-mannered doctors, nurses, and EMT.

I am as appreciative as anyone logically would be for friendly attentive staffpeople in an ER or examination/operating room, but I get a bit concerned and suspicious if said employees seem TOO hospitalble, in that it makes me wonder if they are gonna try to "milk the system" by keeping me there longer than necessary, instead of speedily getting me on the road to recovery and then moving on to other patients.
