hardcore scene kid

a very lame scene that has developed from the emo scene, in which the males usually wear nike shoes, trackie bottoms or super skinny jeans with a big belt buckle, a hoody or hooded jacket with the hood up and a New Era or DC cap. there hair is either long fringe over one eye, or ridiculous block fringe that looks very silly, yet they think it looks cool under their caps. they have an angry attitude rather than the depressed emo attitude. they listen to shit fake screamo such as Enter Shikari and Hadouken. they are basically stuck between being emos and chavs, hence developing the nickname Chemos from some. they use ridiculous lingo they have stolen off chavs. they often go around stabbing bins and buying £20 knuckledusters for no reason. they are think they are very superior and that their ridiculous hair makes them look good.

NOTE these people are not hardcore kids, who are actually quite cool and original. these are following a lame scene that has stolen the name hardcore off the cool original people.

a young person who listens to frantic and hevy music. when at gigs, a hardcore kid will punch an kick the air in a spectacular fashion. however, in a breakdown several hardcore kids will enter a pit and kick the shit out of each other. hardcore kids are the toughest of any alternative person. but beware: there are many bogus hardcore kids about! its rather popular to be one nowadays

hardcore hands (pl. noun) -- a term describing two hands formed into the rock on hand symbol. Usually displayed in response to music, or a situation that is just brutal. The symbol is formed on each hand, sticking the index and pinky fingers into the air, while balling the ring, middle, and thumb fingers into what resembles a small fist in the middle of the hand. Can also be used in the singular sense, as simply "hardcore hand".

After a session of rocking out, Dylan and Vinny threw up hardcore hands as a symbol of their metal dominance.

post hardcore

A respectable genre, that combines the heavy musical structure of hardcore with more melodic vocals. Post Hardcore generally contains the same guitar structure as hardcore, for example; the breakdown. This Genre is in no way another way of classifying 'emo'. And doing so would illustrate ones ignorance in relation to this branch of alternative music. Although post hardcore often contains, emotional lyrics.
