C.R.E.A.M.

The acronym standing for, "Cash Rules Everything Around Me."
Originating from the Wu Tang Clan, this phrase was popular in the early/mid-ninties when the hit song was released. Unlike many current rap songs, this song stressed the importance of obtaining money, as opposed to spending it. It also showed youth that selling drugs was not a good way to make money, and that hard work and creativity would make more money.

C and E

People who only show up at church on Christmas and Easter, the only two times a year where church attendance seems 'mandatory'.

Better set up more chairs in the sanctuary so all the C and E folks have a place to sit.

I before E except after C

Something like the Teletubbies, as it was created by someone high on pot at the time. It barely even works. In terms of the words that have those kinds of letters, most of them break the rule, so it is pointless. Teams have lost the Spelling Bee just because they trusted the devil of spelling, I before E except after C. Even English teachers think that this is a shitty technique.

Teacher: I before E except after C.
Me: That's useless, there are so many exceptions.
Teacher: Detention.
