PERCESIVE

Per-ce-sive per-se-siv —adjective.
a term used to describe people aware of media bias that actively seek out their own facts.

A blending of three words: Person meaning people, Perception meaning to be aware and Pensive meaning thinking.

It’s no secret people want to convince us of their opinions, rely on their data, consider their perspective or accept them as experts, we must be PERCESIVE and put on a filter to make responsible, informed decisions that we don't regret.

Our mother was very PERCESIVE as she instructed us to avoid the temptation to accept whatever we hear first by evaluating sources and fact checking.

1. Collectively, all words with which one is familiar but is unable to define.

2. Words that one would commonly be expected to know based on his or her education or socio-economic class but does not.
3. Particular words, generally of an erudite nature, which one finds perpetually befuddling despite previous attempts to ascertain their meaning.

An alternate way of saying "0% chance" or "completely impossible". Coined after the imfamous "Desert Gold" vehicle skin scandal in EA's 'Battlefield 1', where the skin was found to be impossible to obtain from the ingame battlepacks.

Ken: Hey, what are the chances I'll get laid tonight?

Barry: A "Desert Gold" percent chance. You're an insociable twat.
