The Royal Navy of the United Kingdom is the oldest of the British armed services (and is therefore known as the Senior Service). From the beginning of the 18th century until well into the 20th century, it was the most powerful navy in the world.
Throughout the 18th and 19th centuries the Royal Navy was able to maintain an almost uninterrupted ascendancy over its rivals through superiority in financing, tactics, training, organisation, social cohesion, hygiene, dockyard facilities, logistical support and, from the middle of the 18th century, warship design and construction.
During WW2 it lost most of its world power due to eccenomic inter-war budget cuts and treaties. But still managed to maintain a pressence on a glabal scale.
Proved its worth in Falkland Islands in 1982, fighting a battle 8,345 miles (12,800 km) from Great Britain.
Rather outdated now however, due to massive budget cuts and misapropiated funding. New aircraft carriers (Queen Elizabeth class), destroyers (Type 45) and submarines (Astute class) are now over budget and running years behind schedule.
Blame BAE systems and succsesive MOD fuck-up's.

Get the Royal Navy mug. This is an intimidation technique that is primarily used to keep a woman quiet when she is being too loud during the throws of passion. You wrap your strong arm around her neck and grab her chin and jaw, and then cover her mouth with you weak hand. You then say to her: "If you dont shut the fuck up, I will snap your neck". If this doesnt shut her up then nothing will. Besides actually doing it.....
I was railing this chick at her house the other night, but I didnt realize her mom was across the hall. When I found out, I had to give that girl The Navy SEAL to make sure I didnt get caught.

Get the Baby Navy mug.The Navy, like the Marine Corps, has 11 published General Orders of a Sentry.
However, since the first orr dipped into the water, Sailors have been smart-asses, if you give us 11 refined General Orders, we will give you back a vulgar 12th.
The 12th General Order of a Sentry is:
To walk my beat and beat my meat and fuck everything with in 15ft,
And Sir/Ma'am you are too fucking close!
This Definition is circa 1981, Naval Recruit Training Center, San Diego CA.

Get the The 12th General Order of a Sentry - Navy mug.Once the World's largest Navy, but due to the fact that the British have been corrupted by evil Liberal Ideas successive Governments have abused it and made it dangerously small. However the Officers and Sailors of the Royal Navy are by far the most willing and capable, putting up with crap food, and crap conditions.
Despite common misconception, it is not the Royal Navy that is full of Homosexuals, they are too busy working, and getting women in Port to be dealing with that.
