Strava Farmer

A typical cycling Strava Wanker who is concerned over everything else the numbers they show in a ride. Their main focus is to show huge numbers and by doing this they farm miles behind different groups or riders within a single day, rarely achieving more than 20% of this mileage by solo riding or pulling on the front. They also commonly start/stop recording at any dip in speed to prevent the record of average speed dropping. Their main goal in life is to use the Strava app to prove they are a stronger riders than others. Common traits of a Strava Farmer also include, heavy narcissism, selfies, fear of real racing to avoid exposure and Time Trials.

Steady Flame

Steady Flame

Need for clarity and moving past trauma bond territory.
Choosing you is a reality even when wrong, feels right at the end of every day, no matter how we got here.

You’re right the static never stood a chance. When I said I try to comply, I never meant it as a hollow gesture or a lack of fire. I meant that I’ve been trying to meet you in the silence, reciprocating distance coz I thought it was what you needed. But I don’t want to hide behind those walls anymore.

I dont like the phantom limb. I want the storm, the reality and everything in between. I’m not just keeping this love safe, as long as its mutual, I’m ready to live it beside you. If the word you’re waitin for is Si then know I’ve been whisperin it in my heart all along.
But let’s be as true as that "steady flame." I want us to be more than a memory or a trauma bond. To do that we can’t just sweep the debris under the rug and hope it stays there. We need to clear the ground for good. I want to hear your thoughts, even the sharp ones coz unresolved ghosts always find a way back to the surface. Let’s pack light, leaving the extra baggage behind, so we don’t repeat the cycles that hurt us.
I never want to be the reason for your trauma and I’ve realized that sometimes we trigger in each other the very things we fear most. I know the weight of discussion can be heavy but the silence of an unresolved argument is heavier. Let’s trade the static for a truth that actually resolves. No more running from the reality of us. I’m ready to stop the orbit and just be present.
