Essentially a meeting where some pompous egotistical twat of a manager gets you into work outside of hours to download a bunch of rubbish information you probably already know.

Man I had to attend a toolbox meeting for work this morning. We’ve talked about the same safety issues 4 weeks in a row now.

Stand up meeting

A meeting where the people are forced to stand, with an idea of keeping the meeting short.

Ironic, since its the manager that makes it a stand up AND controls how long the meeting is.
Mostly used to exert physical control over employees.
