Stoked Bummer

A feeling that arises from a bitter-sweet moment in which you are happy (or "Stoked") about a particular circumstance, while simultaneously saddened (total "Bummer" dude!) due to a consequence of the same event. Only really applies to people in Souther California, or events taking place there.

Me: Dude, so I'm stoked that my little sister is getting a sweet gig in Portland but I'm bummed-out that it means she will be moving out of SoCal.
Buddy: Yeah, Stoked Bummer man.
Me: Double True.

Recently voted "The worst place to live in all of the U.K." In no way is related to the Australian saying "i'm stoked"

I drove through stoke on trent, it looked like all the buildings needed a good wash to get all the soot off them.

Roastin a stoge

When a person (typically one who is underage) who is not permitted to smoke a cigarette for whatever reason believes is being watched by an individual who will bust him for his smoking, cups the cigarette for a long period of time.

Teenager #1: "We went out to smoke a butt and Josh just sat there roastin a stoge 'cuz he thought his mom was watchin him."
Teenager #2: "That kids mad sketchy. Let's smoke a bowl."
Teenager #1: "Ok."
