Bungee Cord (noun) - A metaphorical term used to describe the recovery or rebound that occurs in an individual's life after they've experienced a prolonged period of adversity or feeling "down." Just like a bungee cord stretches and then propels someone back upward, a person experiencing a bungee cord moment rebounds and regains their momentum in their personal affairs.
