Smacking Off

The verbal greeting equivalent to a hand shake. "Smacking" comes from the sound peoples hands make when they slap hands during a handshake. 'Off' is the from the saying "Whats poppin off" which means "whats going down? or whats up?". Smacking off is the greeting that is a combination of the two, a handshake and a question rolled into one saying, used as a greeting amongst friends or associates.

sucking rugs

A salacious way of saying you are going to clean carpets and/or rugs, meant to make the non-carpet cleaning layman you are having a conversation with question if you are actually going to clean any carpets at all, or if you are just performing cunnilingus for your customers.

Scott could hardly talk when he got home after spending an entire day sucking rugs.

Sucking Diesel

Restarting a diesel engine e.g. your tractor after it had emptied the tank was very difficult back in the day. There wasn't an electric fuel pump to pump it from the tank. It had to be sucked by the mechanical, engine driven, diesel injector pump. Rather difficult if the engine has no fuel to get going. Once you did get the engine running with out cutting out again you'd know it was finally sucking diesel
