Progressivism

Progressivism is an philosophy-ideology who believed in measured, moderate progress (change) opposed to conservatism, which advocates for miminamul change.

Social Progressivism:This form of progressivism advocates for the change of some societal morals as new research disconfirms the original morals.

Techno-Progressivism: These progressives support development of modern technologies, sometimes bio-technologies, causing conflict with the ideals of Bioconservatism.

Progressivism is contrasted with conservatism, advocating for minimal change, reactionaries that advocate to change society back to a "golden age", and radicals, who advocate for rapid/unmeasured change.

1. favoring meaningful progress in addressing a problem without having to follow an ideological bias or loyalty
2. dedicated to ignoring unproductive political posturing or infighting and getting to a reasonable solution

I can't help being a progressative, because I'm hungry for intelligent change, and I'm so tired of listening to those politicians that talk nothing but conservative or progressive purity and accomplish nothing that helps people improve their futures.

Brogressive

Typically used in reference to straight, cisgender, white, privileged men who self identify as progressive. Brogressives will likely never by affected by discrimination and often make insensitive jokes and write them off as not being true to their beliefs.

Brogressives love to talk about how wrong inequalities are but will never bother to do anything about it. In many cases brogressives are fuckboys that pay serves to their morals by discussing progressive ideas. They also live to act as if they know more about about any topic relating to politics or inequalities than anyone else in the room.

Less Brogressives are being elected as women and people of color started running for office more.

Social Progressivism

Social Progressivism is the view that as time progress so should societal morality (from Wikipedia). Social progressives advocate for morality to be based on advancements in Science and philosophy, rather than religious dogma.

Social Progressivism is opposed to Social conservativism. While Social Conservativies advocated to keep slavery, Social progressives opposed it. Social progressives also campaigned for the right to vote for women. Today they advocate equal marriage and a women's right to choose.

A pejorative political term for a for a liberal whose politics are stereotypically politically-correct, and, as advocates of the nanny state, appear weak and whiny; a bleeding heart liberal.

Progwessive tantrums about organic food, universal health care, and big government are turning America into a Nanny State.
