When the combination of destiny and momentum collide and give birth to an extraordinary result. Typically these occurances happen in high stake athletic events, where everything worth living for is on the line.

Example: It’s the final four in March Madness and your biggest rival just hit a 3 to go up 2 with 6.9 seconds left. You’re really fucking emotional about this game, and have a substantial bet with your girlfriends dad and you NEED to big dick him here. Your team inbounds the ball and the pressure is so intense it seems like it’s over before he can cross half court, but your boy #7 (after seeing the other team hit that three) gets overcome with a confidence that gives him the power to pull out his muscle memory and talent, and pulls a mean step back and drains a three for the win. It was one of those shots that anyone would have missed 99/100 times if they tried it again. But because of the situation, the people watching, the money on the line, and the legacy that shot would create, he made it. THAT, is destum.
