New York City
A big, urban, fast, big, American, big, landmarked, tourist attraction and did I mention big city located on the Eastern Seaboard on the Atlantic Ocean on the United States. Split into 5 parts, Manhatten, Staten (Long) Island, Queens, The Bronx and Brooklyn. Everything in New York is BIG! The buildings are big, the population is big, the people have big attitudes along with big hearts at the same time, the influence is big, the number of things you can do are big and the number of places you can eat and live are big. The only thing that's small in NY is the Cotton Club. Also known as the Big Apple and the City That Never Sleeps. Holder of Central Park, The Empire State Building, Times Square, Radio City, 8 million people, 7 sports teams (Rangers, Islanders, Yankees, Mets, Jets, Giants and Knicks) and a hell of alot of character and influence. Apparently went through a really bad period from the Stock Market Crash to Guliani becoming mayor where there were huge crime rates, poverty rates etc. But after Guliani came in, he cleaned the city up. I DO know this, because I went to New York and it was great.
I went to New York City in May and I loved it. The atmosphere is great where everyone's walking around, it's safe, it's clean, there's alot to do, the people are really nice and it has character. The city itself is a wonder of the world. Only problem about New York is it's easy to get lost. But you've just got to watch where your going, that's all.

New York
A lovely place. Very north European in outlook whilst embracing all cultures. Not the most *American* of North American cities but by far the best. Because of its geography it has evolved in a very classical manner, downtown being centered in southern Manhatten but starting to spill into Brooklyn and upwards into Harlem and the Bronx, with the suburbs on a distinctly 'second tier' of development; this contrasts sharply with the 'multi-hubbed' nature of Los Angeles with its multiple high rise centres making LA much more of a governmental concept than a unified civic community.
New Moon
Perhaps the most depressing book in the entire Twilight series, New Moon tells the story of Bella Swan as she learns to adapt to life after her true love, Edward, leaves her. She finds friendship in a family friend Jacob Black and then procedes to spend all of her time with him until he goes through a strange transformation that will change their relationship forever. As well as the characters that are expected to return several surprises are thrown at Bella. This is a great book but is personally my least favorite in the series because Edwards is truely the core of Bella's life and it is difficult to see her in pain.

New Orleans
A once beautiful city that is now in a state of anarchy because Bush ignored evidence that a large hurricane could crush the levees defending the city from Lake Pontchartrain and the Mississippi River, drowning most of it in over 20 feet of water. And again, thanks to Bush's poor reaction to the disaster, it may remain that way by the start of next year.
The recent disaster in New Orleans killed what little respect I still had for Bush. You were warned years ago!
