A word derived from the chemical phenomena termed "keto-enol tautomerism." In organic chemistry, the aforementioned process is quite sudden and favored in most cases. As such, tautomerize is a term that can be used to describe either very good or very bad events or actions. They must be to quite an extreme to be noted as such.

Etymology:
