lawn sign liberal

A person who professes support for progressive causes (including Black Lives Matter, environmentalism, reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ rights, etc.) or political candidates by placing a lawn sign in their front yard while taking no other action to support these causes/candidates which will meaningfully contribute to advance of their goals.

Person 1: "Is Bill planning to canvass for Jimmy Carter?"
Person 2: "Nope."
Person 1: "What about sending postcards for Planned Parenthood?"
Person 2: "Nope."
Person 1: "So, how is Bill planning to help?"
Person 2: "Well, he put a sign in his yard. I guess he's just a lawn sign liberal."

Always there for people who need her. Gorgeous as always. She has her ups and downs being rude to those who seem to not like her. She sticks up for people and doesn't care for those who judge her. Some can be bitchy, others can be sweet and innocent.

Labbee

A rare species that is spineless and cold blooded. Tends to bite off the balls of it's mate after conception and make a hand bag out of the ball skin. Typically a passive aggressive animal that is very friendly when you are face to face, but uses its venomous claws to tear the flesh off of your back when you turn away. A Labbee will prey on small children and it's ball-less mates. This rare species of carnivore is primarily found in the Mid-West, on the reservation, and sometimes migrates depending on the location of it's baby daddy.

"Was that a Labbee I just saw hiding in the bushes? I thought they only came out at night to suck the souls out of little children!"

Fox News liberal

Someone who claims to be a liberal or Democrat, but has positions and a voting record reflecting that of a conservative or Republican. See also DINO.
One who is often called a "Fox News liberal" is Alan Colmes, co-host (with Sean Hannity) of Hannity & Colmes; he is criticised by liberal commentators, including author and talk show host Al Franken, as weak and unable to effectively debate his decisively conservative counterpart.

That op-ed piece in the Wall Street Journal is the weakest rebuttal to the pro-Bush article he was trying to refute. He's a milquetoast Fox News liberal if you ask me.
