Google Scholar

Someone who believes that easy access to internet articles on a subject is the same as personal, academic, mastery of a subject. Someone who believes that upvotes and popularity of information on the internet is enough for that information to be trustworthy. Someone who disdains or ignores academic journals, primary sources, and university publications because the headlines in a search engine or social media have taught them all they need to know.
Another student cited wikipedia in my informal logic class. All the recent high school grads start off as Google Scholars.

Googletarianism

A form of government in the near future that will achieve total control through use of Facebook and Google. Rather than using terror and secret police like past Totalitarian States, the Googletarian regime will predict our wants and thereby preempt all individual decision-making.

When you see a Social Media comment or conversation about a subject unfamiliar to you, so you quickly put the keywords into Google so you seem far more intelligent about your opinion when you reply.

Profesional, personal or social networking web pages will be pages listed in the search.

Google pollution

A phenomenon in which toxic search engine results have a cumulative and systemic negative effect on the efficacy of the search engine. Search engine results trending towards decreasing accuracy, often caused by commercial websites attaining top listings through the use of search engine optimization (SEO) methods. Highly ranked search engine spam.
After sifting through 34 pages of Google pollution, I finally found a useful query result.

Googlebender

1) A googlebender is someone who refers to google to get information at all times. Normally they do not retain what they learn, because the information is instantly available again to them later. Usually seen browsing google on their cellphones, laptops, wristwatches, computers, and any other electronic device that google may have invaded.

2) May also be used to describe someone who instantly uses google to find anything they need on the web.
If it wasn't for the internet, that googlebender wouldn't know anything.
