Bangtan Brain

When you are first introduced to the K-pop group BTS and are subsequently unable to do anything else. It is similar to catching a virus, because it may start with casual contact but then soon spreads through your entire body and mind. Soon you have gone down a K-hole and are obsessively watching every video, interview, game show, reality show, live, log, and performance they have done in the past, while checking your news feed every morning to see if they have been on Korean TV overnight. It causes you to stop functioning at work and social situations. There is no known cure.

I took a day off of work because I had a terrible case of Bangtan Brain, and needed to stay home and watch every episode of American Hustle Life again.

A person who is so absorbed in band (middle school band, high school band, drum corps, brass ensemble, etc.) that they spend more than 10 hours playing their instrument a week.
