Hiccup: There were dragons when I was a boy...Oh, there were great grim sky dragons that nested on the clifftops like gigantic, scary birds. considered somewhat harsh. Yet immediately, at least for me, I found myself able to understand and agree with what he was saying. It makes sense as you continue to watch the video and gather more details as well. I think these words reached the intended audience of younger people, and I assume even more than expected. I believe the underlying meaning is focusing on less superficial ideas, and more of an interpretation on the motivating factors behind people's actions. This can be applied to any situation, but primarily it is obvious that the speaker's past is what helped to develop the current advice that he shares with the audience.
