Zalphas - 2010-2012: It is a misconception that this group is part of Gen Z; they are, in fact, the earliest cohort of Gen Alpha. Called Zalphas as they blur the line between Gen Z and Gen Alpha, possessing traits and cultural elements from both Gen Z and Gen Alpha. They are outliers who don't truly belong in either generation, much like the Zilennials (1997-1999) before them.
