A person (female or male) whose appearance, clothing, and mannerisms imply vulgar ignorance and degraded, unhealthy promiscuity. Other qualities include an ambience of disease, intoxication, and violent behavior. Note that confirmed promiscuity is not essential, and conversely a promiscuous person is not always a skank (such as James Bond).
