To describe the geographical area above the city of Charleston. Short for the name North Charleston South Carolina. Named one of the country’s top 10 most dangerous cities in 2007, North Charleston is Charleston’s gritty, rough-around-the-edges younger sister. While the city might now lack its high crime rates of yesteryear, its beautiful vistas compensate for any lost flair and intrigue. Take in all the sites, like miles of winding railroad tracks, abandoned bars, all of Spruill Avenue, and Rivers Avenue strip malls. Dontcha Wanna Nocha?
