pod doctor

A doctor or other caregiver who, rather than working for the patient's best interest and health, instead works for an insurance company or the government. Their "patient" is really the entity that employs them, and their job is to control costs and serve the interests of their employer. This ultimately creates a conflict of interest.

1. Insurance company Conglomerated Healthcare dispatched its pod doctor to displace the hospitalist treating the patient, and to quickly turf the patient. The mission was successful, and the pod doctor returned to the insurance offices without the patient ever being the wiser.

2. Death panels will be staffed by pod doctors.

POD UP

Renting a POD container to move your stuff. PODs are delivered to your driveway for you to load up. Once loaded the POD is picked up and sent to your new crib.

Stan's family is going to POD up and move to California.

Someone who exhbits a strong dependency on their i-pod and are constantly updating and/or wearing and listening to it.
