False eyelashes

False eyelashes (sometimes called eyelash extensions) are worn by women (occasionally men) to thicken the upper eyelashes. False eyelashes made of human hair may be applied by a trained beautician and these are usually designed to be semi-permanent. More usually, the lashes are synthetic and are self-applied using special glue. This type can be fairly easily peeled off when they are no longer required. False eyelashes are available in a huge variety of designs, colours, lengths and materials. Some incorporate diamante glitter or even rhinestones. Some types may be cut or trimmed to width or length.
