Not as good as the 1990's.
Kids now are selfish, and spoiled, and aren't true to their roots. I'm only 17, and it's 2011, and honestly, I am SICK of my generation. I would MUCH rather be the age I am now, in about ~1994.
Now I'll tell you some pros and cons about the 2000's
pros:
1) Computers are sweet
2) Weed is getting better
3) That's about it. . .
4) Dubstep
5) Johnny Tsunami
6) Pokemon
Cons- Compared to 90's:
1) No original thoughts now
2) music is shitty
3) people are shitty
4) TV sucks- except Nat Geo
5) Emo Kids
6) Super hipsters
7) Not as cool
8) I wasn't born in ~1980 so I can't be almost 18 in the 90's
9) No fraggle rock (1980's or 90's?)
10) Myspace
11) 2000's Rap
12) 2000's Pop
13) No original anything
14) Everything Social networking
15) You don't see me smoking a blunt at the park right? yeah. it seems like smoking pot is 90532740x worse to get caught doing now
16) Superhero Movies
17) 2000's "Fashion" except plaid <3
18) Kids
19) War
20) George Bush
21) Shittier world
Yeah, see what I mean? BUT thankfully, the 1990's lasted until 2003 then shit happened :/

I think the 1990's are way better than the 2000's
I would much rather be 17 years old from anywhere '64-'78 or '94-2002 instead of the post '03 2000's

One of many Nameplates worn by the Nissan S-chassis cars. The pinnacle of the marque was in 1987-1988, when the North American Market 200sx recieved the VG30E 3.0liter V6 in the SE trim level. (Note: later model US Market cars wearing the 200sx Badge are actually 2-door sentras, and are in no way related to the 200sx or S-car line)

Get the 200sx mug.One cannot talk about the culture of 2010 without dividing the decade in half.
The first five years were pretty damn good. Pop culture was at its peak during this time, characterized by sensational music videos like gangnam style and the harlem shake, and pop artist icons such as Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, and Katy Perry. During this time period, EDM (primarily dubstep, electro and big room house) had become the new standard of pop music, slowly replacing rock-influenced pop music of the 2000s. Internet meme culture was becoming more and more mainstream, characterized by troll memes, rage comics, impact font image macros, and—by late 2014—finally evolving into the more familiar dank meme culture (shrek, mlg montage parodies). Other memorable cultural phenomenons around this time include Kony 2012, the "end of the world" on Dec 21 2012, and the ALS ice bucket challenge. This was also the time where smartphones and tablets were on the rise, laying the foundation to today's smartphone-driven society. Overall the first half of this decade was pretty cool and entertaining, lighthearted even, and did not disappoint.

Overall the first half of this decade was pretty cool and entertaining, lighthearted even, and did not disappoint.
The second half, however, is where everything went downhill. Not even starting with the apocalyptic election of Donald Trump, pop culture in general began devolving into a cesspit of mediocrity, where the entire industry seems to have shifted to a more methodical approach, relying more on generic yet effective formulas than ever before. This was the time when fidget spinners and dabbing were actually a thing, and when ASMR, mukbang, and slime videos started becoming all the rage. It is also in this second half of the decade where politics and social justice became a large area of concern (and contempt) to the public eye, which led to the widespread use of terms such as 'SJW', 'snowflake', alt-right', and 'liberal cuck'. Memes have also devolved, relying heavily on shallow humour, cringe, making innocent things look vile, and absurdity. Pretty much the second half of this decade is just a more shallower, convoluted, and depressing version of the first half.
Other notable cultural trends of the second half include, but are not limited to: fidget spinners
Person 1: Man, I miss 2010s culture, back when we had rage comics and back when filthyfrank was still active
Person 2: So I guess the 2010s must be your favourite decade
person 1: Well yes, but actually no.

Get the 2010s Culture mug.Five years of absolute degeneracy. It ranges from late 2015 to late 2019, with 2017 being peak degeneracy. The focus of this half has primarily shifted to young millennials (born 1994-2000) and the shitty petty interests that surround them. Entertainment and mainstream media has dumbed down significantly at this point to incorporate the values and aphorisms of millennials, which includes stupid words like "woke", "vibing", "mood", "shook", "gucci" and an increasing use of "but" and "y'all" in sentences. Apparently, there is also some odd obsession with neon colors in this half decade.

Get the late 2010s mug.The act of taking a huge soupy poopy wet shit in the toilet, and it resembles 2000 melted aero bars (chocolate bars)
I had to go so bad, and with my crohns disease, it looked like 2000 melted aero bars in the airplane toilet

Get the 2000 melted aero bars mug.Mainly used to describe liberals from the 2010s decade. Most 2010s liberals are stereotyped as overly PC as most have actually made everything in the decade like movies, TV shows, cartoons, video games, social media, etc. Making everything all flowery and watered down because they believe everything must be positive which isn't the case most of the time (life is really about both positivity and negativity. The yin and the yang. The universal balance between good and evil).
Not all 2010s liberals are overly PC though. There are some who do believe that not everything should be too politically correct but are mostly overshadowed by the more PC ones.
