A willful idiot is someone who intentionally makes suboptimal decisions that negatively effects their sanity, physical health, and difficulty of their life. Often done by stubborn
people who don't practice safer and smarter
work practices for the sake of being a man, and
people who refuse to take the high road.
Examples of a Willful idiot include, but are not limited to:
1: Worker works harder, not smarter at the construction site, knowing the future consequences of doing so.
- This negatively effects his physical health (lower back pain,
hip problems, etc...). He works harder to show everyone how much of a hardworking man he is. This cycle of inefficiency will cause Worker to have a "shorter
fuse", causing anger, as a result of frustration and
burnout.
2: User interacts with rage baiters on forums, knowing the consequences of doing so.
- This negatively effects his sanity. Sometimes this can be done for fun, i.
e.
trolling, however, if done incorrectly, this can induce actual rage within oneself. This will cause User to become bitter, disappointed, possibly frustrated or angry toward them, and more importantly, himself. This is possibly an example of: The art of
trolling oneself.
