A mysterious and highly localized weather phenomenon in central New Jersey where storms, rain, and severe weather systems inexplicably split, weaken, or divert entirely around the towns of Bridgewater and Branchburg—leaving them dry while surrounding areas get drenched. Named after local lore and residents (often skeptically) referencing "the Corbo-Bubble" as the reason their lawns stay crispy while neighboring towns flood.
"Storm's hitting Plainfield, Bernardsville, and Readington, but Bridgewater? Bone dry. Must be the Corbo Bubble again."
