Awa Ni Yen

Used as a response when someone praises you about something in the Nigerian language of Yoruba, spoken in the city of Lagos. It’s basically an acknowledgement that roughly translates to “That’s us,” -- I’m always gingered, and I want everyone to feel the same way and be able to say the same thing for themselves
"Awa Ni Yen
Who has the kids all hype
Awa Ni Yen
Who keeps it live all night"

- From the song "Awa Ni" by The Knocks & Kah-Lo
