Chrush time

The massive amounts of people one has to contend with in the city from roughly Thanksgiving to a few days after New Year's Day, all visiting relatives, friends, and doing shopping, for the holidays. A plus for merchants, a nuisance for people struggling to find a place to stand or sit on buses and trains.

It's Chrush time again---time to wake up at 4 AM instead of 5 just so I can get my seat on the train!

Monkey Chorus

Something blindly repeated or, aped, in politics - particularly by the Right-Wing. The Monkey Chorus is a result of a tactic used often by the George W. Bush Administration which attempts to convince people that something is true by repeatedly stating it is true, from different mouth pieces.

The name monkey chorus probably arose due to the fact that George W. Bush looks like a monkey and his supporters sound about as intelligent as monkeys.

"There are weapons of mass destruction in Iraq! Rush Limbaugh, Paul Wolfowitz, Condoleeza Rice, Dick Cheney, George W. Bush, George Tenet, Sean Hannity, Dennis Miller, and even Colin Powell all say so!"
