Muslims are a religious group of people who can be misunderstood. Many believe Muslims are terrorists. THEY ARE NOT. A true Muslims will never harm other people. Terrorists only call themselves Muslims. If you know a Muslim you are very lucky. I believe the world shall give them a chance. They believe in God. They pray 5 times a day and pray at a place called a mosque. Muslims are a spreading religion that shows the beauty of the world. They have it tough because of stereo typical information. Muslims are good people.

A tired, abused soul. Goes to high school daily with the fear of being called terrorist. His/her religion teaches the notion of religious and ethnic tolerance, so this person sits quietly and takes it as the entire class tells this person to go back to their country.

Takes the blame for 9/11 and other bombings, and is easily a target for bullies. Has never seen and/or held a gun, let alone a bomb.

Is hesitant to reveal his ethnicity or religion when asked by the teacher.

Arabic is the universal language for Muslims, just like Latin is the mother language of Christianity. After years of trying to learn the difficult language, this person is persecuted for sounding "like a terrorist" when he prays.

Idiots tell this person to go praise "Allah," when really they are unaware that Allah is Arabic for God, the same God that monotheists pray to.

This person stays true to his religion, no drinking, no gambling, and no eating pork, even when it's the only thing being served in the cafeteria.

This person has tolerated numerous persecutions and insults popularized by the media.

This person has to pay the price daily, for what a radical pseudo-intellectual nauratic named Osama Bin Laden and his group did in the name of their religion.

This person is abhorred by the entire country for his religion, and he has no shame in it.

Muslim 

Someone who follows the PEACE-EMBRACING religion, Islam. Muslims believe in one god, Allah, and yes if you are a christian or jew you believe in him too. Also, muslims ARE NOT TERRORISTS. There are nearly 2 billion muslims in the world and if every one of them was a terrorist you would probably be dead. Obviously, there are crackheads like bin laden, but many other religions have extreme groups like the KKK and so on, as well. And, women ARE treated fairly, it is certain GOVERNMENTS not religion that cause issues.

I am a muslim woman who is not forced to wear a head scarf.

Muslims believe in peace, and they respect other people and their ways of life.

Many muslims are already pat of American society, including me.

Muslims believe in many prophets, such as Jesus, Moses, and Muhammad peace be upon them.

A person/group of people suffering from the ignorance of the world. The terrorists that claim to follow the religion of Islam are known as extremists for a reason - they take every word to the worst extreme. And it must also be pointed out that not all terrorists are muslims. Terrorism is defined as the calculated use of violence (or the threat of violence) against civilians in order to attain goals that are political or religious or ideological in nature; this is done through intimidation or coercion or instilling fear. Can this not be applied to religious persecution, to the holocaust, to practically any historic tragedy that was born from harmful religious/political/theoretic ideals?

A muslim is a human being following a religion that they feel will guide them to an enlightened life, just like a Catholic or a Bhuddist or a Hindu to their respective beliefs. A muslim is a person that is not automatically connected to modern day terrorist attacks, and should not be treated as such.

A muslim is a person, not a generalized stereotype based off of cowardly fear and ignorance.

A highly misunderstood religion that ill-informed people constantly make fun of.

Some of the nicest people I know are Muslims. They went to Africa for 2 years building houses for orphans, not bombing.

The Muslim 'terrorists' are twisted extremists, who twist the words of the Koran, their religion's holy book, to feed their own anger towards the world. This is a tiny fraction of the religion, and it is not fair to judge all of them by the actions of a select few extremists.

Whether you may accept it or not, every religion has its group of extremists. Hitler was raised Catholic. Does this mean that all Catholic men are going to pillage and burn millions of people? No. A Christian shot up a Unitarian Universalist church. Does this mean that all Christians are secretly planning to kill everyone who doesn't believe what they do? No. It doesn't.

And the phrase "All Muslims are not terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims," this is 50% untrue. All Muslims are not terrorists. Yes, there are certainly some Muslim extremists who should be punished for their hateful acts, but, again, not all Muslims are terrorists. Only the select few who ARE should be punished. And "All terrorists are Muslims?" Whatever uneducated person thought of this did not do their research. There are lots of religions that have their religious extremists that blow up or shoot up places.

Islam is the most prominent religion in the world, so it makes sense that Islam's extremists should be the most. Think.

Ignorant person: ALL MUSLIMS NEED TO BE BLOWN UP!

Me: Just because some Muslims want violence, it doesn't mean all of them do. By you demanding death to some innocent people, aren't you just as bad? Yes, some are terrorists. But this amount is so small it's unreal. Their voices are just the loudest.
