open letter

A method of writing in which an insecure attention whore tries to make it seem as though they care about the person to whom they're writing the letter when really they're just trying to draw attention to themselves.

"I'd send a closed letter, but I'm an attention whore so I'm sending an open letter. Fame through someone else, here I come!"

Silent Letter

A completely pointless letter that we add to words because we like to make things as comlicated as hell for foreigners.

It's not kanife you twit, it's knife. The K is what we call a silent letter. I advise you just stay silent as well.

four letter word

Phrase that refers to any number of "bad" words, often seen in forum posts. Can mean shit, fuck, damn, and even other non-four-lettered-words such as ass and bitch. Can also refer to the basic four letter words with suffixes (ie "ed" "ing"). Usually said by some religious freak or ten year old that will get in trouble if their parents see it.
