Imaginary article of clothing you wear when you DVR the game and you don't want to hear the results.

After recording the game I'll put on my scoremuffs and I won't listen to the radio or answer the phone. That way I know I won't find out the score.

Boss - "I am going to give you a raise."
You - "Yes! Triple word score!"
