The original formula:

Promethazine w/Codeine syrup
Any fruit flavored soda
A jolly rancher

Put it all in a styrofoam cup and enjoy. The codeine is mainly responsible for the euphoria felt after drinking sizzurp. Promethazine causes motor skill impairment, lethargy, and extreme drowsiness. If it doesn't have promethazine, it ain't real sizzurp.

DXM is not a component of sizzurp, although it may produce vaguely similar effects to the above recipe in doses ranging from 150 - 250 mg.

I drank a deuce (2 oz.) of sizzurp and got straight folded.

HR Sizzurp

Its Human Resources BS at its worst, generally served for free at career fairs at a variety of universities all across America. Examples of "dat HR sizzurp" include: offers of opportunities to work abroad, face to face client meetings, words such as strategy and management and opportunities for development. These things never happen at your entry level position or internship, but are commonly discussed at said career fairs.

Dat sizzurp is generally so strong that it can only be sipped, and seems great while your leanin' on it. It is highly intoxicating. Generally, once one's career at said firm begins, the user soon realizes that the HR sizzurp is a terrible concoction with horrific side effects.

Basically the better version of alcohol, also known as purple drank (yes drank), lean' and texas tea. You get some sprite or mountain dew then you get some jolly ranchers crush em' up throw em' in your choice of clear soda then you need some cough syrup, none of that DXM bullshit unless your looking to get spacy and trippy but that's not what sizzurps about. The cough syrup has to contain codeine w/ promethazine like the original formula or tussinex which is liquid hydrocodone with an antihistamine and is better than codeine. Some formula's below:

Original:
Codeine w/ Promethazine cough syrup

Jolly ranchers

Retarded dumb-ass formula:
Over the counter DXM syrup
vodka
red-bull

Modern and enhanced version:
Tussinex (liq. Hydrocodone suspension 12hour release)
