Smartypants

A type of boy who is studying engineering at UCT. Generally known for sharp wit and sense of humour as well as astounding intellect. The Smartypants tends to be the loudest (usually most attractive) guy in the room, and is well liked.

Can also be used sarcastically

Someone who inadvertantly shits their pants during a time period which it is highly uncommon for one to soil themselves.

The phrase is usually used behind the soiler's back to make fun of them or to publicly humiliate them without thier common knowledge.

Guy #1: "Dude, that chick got so wasted last night, she passed out and shit her pants"

Guy #2: "No way! What a Shittypants!"

Guy #1: "She even left little shits in the matress, and she doesn't think anybody knows she shit herself!"

Shittypants: "You guys talking about me?"

Guy #2: ........no.

Smartypants

1. The same thing as a smartass, but put in words you can say around children.

2. A positive connotation used to appreciate a younger one’s brilliant moment (most the time when it would be a basic standard for an older member of society to understand or accomplish).

Shirtpants 

A shirtpants is someone who acts as though they can speak on concepts in alternative fashion yet they have the fashion sense of a saltine cracker.

A shirtpants could also be used as a term for someone who acts like they know everything about a certain style, or only believes stereotypes about the style, however they don’t wear or otherwise interact with the community.

a shirtpants is an insult used against people who do not engage in alternative fashion yet act like they have a voice in the conversations of these communities.

The term shirtpants can also be used for:
• people who call every fashion style that doesn’t look like every white girl or boy “emo”
• people who believe damn near every stereotype about a fashion style
• people who act as though they know everything about a style besides not wearing the style or interacting with members of this community.
