democratic dictatorship

A form of government where the candidate is elected by popular vote but rarely or never actually enacts any policies that reflect the actual wishes of the constituency. The elected representative can either use subtle diplomacy to deflect criticsm, arrange for various forms of distraction to divert public attention, or be brazen in publicly declaring that policy will be different to popular opinion. Coined by Tim Francis in 2005.
The United States Federal Goverment's track record in regards to foreign policy and engaging military conflict could lead one to the conclusion that it has evolved into a democratic dictatorship. The same could be said for both the Federal Australian and UK governments to some extent, particularly in relation to Iraq and the Kyoto Agreement.

Dictatorship

Dictatorship is a form of government where the leader of the country owns all of its citizens and their souls. Dictatorship kicks ass and it works, unlike communism. No hippies, no feminazi's, no bullshit, and if there is, they'll either go to another fucking country or be sentenced to death by firing squad. Depending on your dictator, you can live with peace and tranquility, or live a life of fear, or a live of poverty but either way, you take the shit without any complaining, unless you want to die that is.
I'm going to be a dictator when I grow up, and I'll end poverty...but I'll endorse the death penalty. Dictatorship

4G Dictatorship

When a political leader unquestionably becomes the country’s ruler, with full support from fellow key party members, who in turn expect to be promoted to executive positions for not opposing his undemocratic appointment.
Chairman Xi is the poster boy for 4G dictatorship, who had cracked down on those who criticized his strategy of wiping out “home-grown corruption,” and expelled foreign forces that try to promote social filth or undesirable values among the younger population.
