Their stock and trade is opinion, rather than fact with both generally being pulled out of their asses. The punditocracy thinks more of itself than those who listen to it.

A punanitorium is the antithesis of world peace.

Add in an active volcano, a county government that doesn't give a crap what they do as long as they aren't killing anyone, and mix in a shitload of "love and light" hippies, conspiracy theorists who moved out here during the pandemic or have lived here for 40 years so they claim to be "Hawaiian", random hermits who live out in the lava desert, and sovereignty separatists....

A person who uses Facebook to make political comments and advocate a particular point of view. Said person is inclined to get involved in debates with other Facebook users by exchanging comments on a post.

Girl 1: What does John talk about on Facebook?
Girl 2: Oh, I usually just skip over his posts. He's always talking about political stuff. He's such a Facebook pundit.
