The tendency to not start anything until you have had a cup of coffee/soda/energy drink.

I precaffinated before tearing into the server rack with reluctance. It had to be done with the right caffeine spin control.
I had to precaffinate before replying to the yard long email expecting me to reply or else.

An amalgamation of pro + faff

Somewhat akin to procrastinating, instead of thinking it would relate to waisting time.

For example. When leaving your house, then returning to collect your phone, then leaving again to return to pick up an umbrella.

Sorry we're late we were profaffinating.

Yesterday i profaffinated for so long i missed the last bus.
