His character is one of my role-models I live by.

Packard Bell

Packard Bell, not to be confused with Hewlett-Packard, was an electronics company which manufactured PCs of such terrible quality that its products are aptly referred to as "Packaged Hell." Once you purchased one of their machines, you were stuck with a heap of crap after the motherboard or power supply invariably failed (the company insisted on using odd form factors making sure spare parts were impossible to find). Fortunately, the company ceased selling its crash-happy computers in the U.S. in 2000. Unfortunately, the brand continues to plague the European market.

A song produced a while ago by music group Dark Materia, using varuious lines spoken by Patrick Stewarts' classic character of Captain Jean-Luc Picard...of the U.S.S Enterprise, from Star Trek: The Next Generation.

The song became incredibly popular on the ytmd website with a memorable loop that repeated the main chorus over and over again, prompting new listeners to hear the full version on various websites.

picardize

To change the ending of a minor-key piece of music to a major key, adding a Picardy third (tierce de Picardie).

One can loosely refer to music that already has a Picardy third ending as "self-picardizing". Some examples include the "Little" Fugue in G Minor by J.S. Bach, "And I Love Her" by The Beatles, "Roundabout" by Yes, and N.I.B. by Black Sabbath.

"The last chord here is D minor. Do you really want to picardize it, using D major instead?"
"Yes, Number One, make it so."
