sweet patootie

The expression has currently come to be used in refering to a person's rear end, but was originally a term of endearment. It evolved from "sweetheart" to "sweet potato", to "sweet patootie".

She's my little sweet patootie.

To treat someone as inferior as a result of some sort of help they accepted from you and to feel you have right to teach, control, or check on them. Clearly not a noble behavior.

A:When will Teresa's parents stop patronize her, checking up on her every breath all the time?...
B:Probably never! You know..people like them will feel like that with their children forever..

It means the same as the phrases, "you bet your ass" and, "you bet your dick and balls".
That is, you're absolutely, positively, 100% certain about the final outcome of a situation.

{Seen on a website about flashlights, LEDs, and lasers}:
I tried to cut through the outer casing to bare metal with the blade of a Swiss army knife, and with some minor difficulty, I was able to do so. This shows the unit has a Type II anodized finish to it (...)
