al palato

"Soft" or "well done" when referred to pasta. Opposite of "al dente".

Literally, "al palato" means "to the palate". Palate is the upper part of the mouth that in combination with the upward tongue pressure can be used to chew soft foods. Most applicable to those who are missing teeth (or awaiting for them to grow for that matter).

The second definition of the word "palato" is "taste". So it can be interpreted as "to the taste" as well :)

The moment when that cute thing you type online sounds dumb when you say it out loud in real life. Like when you actually say "sneks" out loud.
"Hey, come check out this reddit for sneks."
"For what?"
"For sne-... Never mind I just realized this is stupid and a waste of everyone's time. "
