Get the Nerdorable mug.A tongue in cheek term coined my webcomic writer R. K. Milholland circa 2004 in his webcomic 'Something Positive'. The word encompasses erotica specifically directed at nerds, geeks and other socially challenged more comfortable interacting with the oposite sex only in their mind. Nerdrotica combines the traditional pursuits of nerd-dom with sex in all its forms.

Get the Necroromancer mug.The co-opted form of 'Recovery', typically delivered and implemented by mental health services. Neorecovery is distinct to the original ethos of recovery as conceived and articulated by mental health survivors and service users, which was service user led, democratic, humanistic and based on collective values. In contrast, neorecovery is provider or service delivered, controlled or designed, typically paying lip service to meaningful and democratic user involvement or so called 'co-production'. Neorecovery reflects the current neo-liberal political context of society and mental health services in its approaches and practices, with its emphasis on individualism, 'responsibility', 'dependency' and work as a health outcome.
Gemma despaired at her new Recovery College prospectus and its neorecovery ethos. Courses included 'work will set you free' and 'understanding your economic burden on the state'.
