Portmantaeu of mono (single) + heterosexual) + conformity (restricted variety or freedom).

Jeez, it's now the 21st century but plenty of olde & dusty (read 'dirty') institutions, some dating millennia back, are still insisting that monoheteroconformity is the only way to live decently
