elfen lied

Contrary to revisionist opinion, this is a deeply emotional and meaningful series that touched on, among other things, alienation, humanity, parenthood, forgiveness, and altogether humane behavior. A transcendental series if watched with the right mindset. The blood and gore only adds to the atmosphere, they are nothing in themselves.

If you are childish or have childish reflexes on things such as revenge or hate, this may do you a lot of good.
Elfen Lied is glorious beyond mortal knowledge.

Elfen Lied

A Horror/Romance/Drama/Psychological manga made in 2002 and ended in 2002 (by Lynn Okamoto). It's also an anime series made in 2004 and ended in 2004 (by Mamoru Kanbe).

The story tells of a young Diclonius girl named Lucy who had a very, very painful childhood because she was rejected for being different. The kid brat tormentors were so mean to Lucy, to the point where they kill an innocent puppy she befriended, which resulted Lucy to have a psychological trauma attack and killing them and innocent bystanders in the future. Lucy has vectors that are unseeable and the kill by slashing and blowing up the victims. She lives with Kohta and his family. Her sweet counter part is Nyu, a girl who is not cold and sadistic and can only say Nyu. Lucy faces off against the army multiple times. She doesn't die in the last episode.

Elfen Lied is only for the people who love the bloodshed, sadness, romance and horror all in one series. There is also nudity, child abuse, revenge, regret, jealousy and the value of humanity.

A great amount of people find Elfen lied to be some of the most disturbing, sad, scary but amazing anime out there.

Give this a thumbs up if you believe this describes the series nicely and that they should fix the dog scene for the better to save the dog. Do what you need to do to fix that moment.
Lucy never deserved the abuse in Elfen Lied.

Elfen Lied

One of the best short sci fi series. Most people give up watching the series after the first 7 minutes due to all the violence, nudity, etc, but the show itself isn't all about gore and blood. The series shows great depth in human character, has romance, drama, and psychological themes. Many critics rate it a 9 out of 10.

The main character of the show is Lucy, who is the first of a new species, the Diclonius. She has vectors which resemble hands and can vibrate them at high speeds to slice objects and people in half. Also, she is able to reproduce others of her kind by spreading an infections. This provides a great danger to the Homo Sapiens. As the story progresses, it reveals more about her past and childhood.
"Elfen Lied is so bloody, but the story is very well thought out."

I lied

Phrase most notably used by teachers as a replacement for "I was incorrect," or "I presented the wrong information (on purpose)."

The usage of this phrase is likely a result in the instructor's attempt to be make witty statements; however no extra attention is given to "I lied" over "My mistake" or "This new concept renders the old one false."

Origin unknown. The phrase may have started with teenagers who felt the need to express faults in a comical manner. It seems that the trend ended, and teenagers have reverted to "just kidding," which has been reduced to "j.k. j.k." Middle school and high school instructors must have picked up the trend upon hearing several students use the term.

Teacher: I told you guys that the normal force is always opposite of the force of gravity. Well, I lied, because now we are moving into forces and inclines.

Teacher: I lied, the pop quiz will be added into the homework category.

Teacher: Oops, I lied. The color yellow does hold a significant value in the book Crime and Punishment.

Elfen Lied

Elfen Lied is an amazing anime (or Japanese cartoon) that explores psychological themes, human behavior, the chain effect, and so much more.
Unfortunately, the fandom has been overtaken by mindless bastards who only watch the show for gore and nudity, and not for the plot. Many of them tend to laugh at the gore, have very violent ideas of how to kill young bullies, and think that the main protagonists, Lucy and Kouta, are the "MOST KAWAII COUPLE EVAAAAAR" and that Yuka, Kouta's cousin who happens to have a crush on him, is "A STEWPID BETCH THAT NEEDS TEW GO DIE" Many also tend to have a foolish childlike wish of becoming a diclonius, a mutated human that the heroine, Lucy, is.
Person 1: "OH MAH GAWD ELFEN LIED IS LIEK TEH BEST ANIMU EVAR! LUCYxKOUTA IS SOOOO KYUTE! ^_^ AND YUKA NEEDS 2 GO DIE! NYU NYU NYU! FUCK THE HUMANS, I'M A DICLONIUS NOW! THOSE KIDS NEED TO HAVE THEIR DICKS RIPPED OFF AND SHOVED DOWN THEIR THROAT!!!!"
Person 2: "SHUT UP! There's more to Elfen Lied then that! You're ruining a perfectly good anime!"
