Get the Krekkers mug.Uncle Kracker (born Matthew Shafer; June 6, 1974) is an American rock, country, and rap rock musician, most popularly known for his hit singles "Follow Me", "Smile", and "Drift Away". His music was more rap rock-based at the start of his career before turning in a more country and Top 40 style music direction on later releases.
Shafer was raised in Harrison Township, Michigan. In 1987, with his brother Mike Shafer, he visited a nightclub in Clawson, Michigan where a turntables competition was occurring. His older brother was competing against a then-unknown musician, Kid Rock. Shafer then spent a lot of time with Kid Rock, and they became friends. In those times, he was mainly rapping. He only performed at live shows at the time, until he began recording for Rock's album, Early Mornin' Stoned Pimp; Shafer was a featured vocalist on some of the tracks. He then began working on a solo album, but he continued being the DJ for Kid Rock. Upon the release of Rock's multi-platinum album, Devil Without a Cause, Shafer decided that it was time to release his first solo album, Double Wide, adopting the stage name Uncle Kracker.

Get the Uncle Kracker mug.This term is said to have originated in England before the 16th century, refering to the lower class whose diet primarily consisted of "crackers", actually biscuits. Many of their descendants were sent to the Georgia penal colony, hence "Georgia crackers." White people had invented this name for themselves before the first slave was brought to America, although it is still in use today by mostly older blacks referring to whites.

Get the Butt kraker mug.An irresponsible and garrulous busybody who constantly offers unsolicited and self-serving advice and suggestions. The blocher/kakker/schnorrer is spring-loaded to invite himself (or herself) (un-invited) into one's life, usually with overtones of boisterous dependancy, implying that his (or her) hapless host has obligations to include him (or her) in a variety of activities in which someone else will pay the bill. As an invited (even if self-invited) guest, the blocher/kakker/schorrer will behave as a flamboyant and irresponsibly generous host... until the bill is presented, at which time he (or she) will demonstrate virtuso skill at check-fumbling.
He or she is a blocher/kakker/schnorrer who, unless driven off by relentless whacks with a stick, will disembowel the vitals of another's life.
