Term appearing in A. Bester's novel 'The Stars My Destination', indicating the act of teleportation of oneself by mere use of willpower.

Also as verb:

Jaunting is the ability to teleport oneself, unaided, by a simple expression of will. The only requirements are that you know where you are and can visualize where you are going.
