Another version of word 'hello', often with Russian (or similar) accent; greeting.

Hool

Exclamed in frustration toward an animal that has entered one’s property without permission. Typically directed toward a bird or dog that is seeking food.

A regional term similar to shoo, most often found in rural and country Victoria, Australia, in the mid-to-late 1900’s.

Witnessing a flock of starlings perched nonchalantly upon his prized crop of tomatoes, Basil waved his arms and yelled “hool”, sending them squawking and fluttering to the adjacent yard.

Hool Up

To "hool" up with some one is a clumsy, chaotic way to hook up with some one.

A not so well planned, poorly planned, or a bad one night stand.

Guy1- "Dude you were so wasted last night. How did your hook up end?"

Guy2- "I was so drunk I couldn't control myself and it ended up with her crying and leaving. A terrible hool up..."
